Audio Trimmer

Load an audio file, mark the start and end (with manual time fields or visually), add an optional fade in or fade out, and download the result. When it's technically safe, it copies the segment without re-encoding to keep the exact quality; when re-encoding is needed (for example, when applying a fade), the tool clearly says so. Processed with FFmpeg WebAssembly, running in a Web Worker.

Frequently asked questions

Is my audio uploaded to a server?
No. The trim is processed entirely in your browser using FFmpeg WebAssembly; the file is never uploaded to any server.
Does it lose quality when trimming?
When you don't add fades, the tool tries to copy the segment without re-encoding to keep the exact quality; if you use a fade, it re-encodes and the tool tells you.
