Video Trimmer

Load a video, mark the start and end points, and choose between a fast cut (copies the streams near keyframes, no re-encoding) or a precise cut (re-encodes to cut at the exact frame). You can keep or remove the audio. The tool explains the difference between both modes and never claims frame-exact precision when you use stream copy.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between a fast cut and a precise cut?
A fast cut copies the streams without re-encoding, so it's nearly instant but may start at the nearest keyframe; a precise cut re-encodes the video to cut at the exact frame you chose, at the cost of more processing time.
Is the fast cut frame-exact?
No. Since it copies streams without re-encoding, the actual start may snap to the nearest keyframe — use precise cut mode for exact frame accuracy.
